Yakima Valley College workforce education students and alumni will be able to connect with employers during a Spring Career Fair hosted by the Workforce Education Division (WED) on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The Spring Career Fair 2023 – “Careers Grow Here!” is free for YVC students and alumni and will be held in the Conference Center, 1704 W. Nob Hill Blvd., Building #38.
Representatives from various companies will be available to share career opportunities and host onsite interviews with participants. Participants can drop in anytime between 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and take advantage of free workshops led by experts to help students and alumni grow their career opportunities.

The event also provides an opportunity for YVC students and alumni to learn more about Handshake, an online student-centered job board recently adopted by the college. Through Handshake, current students and recent graduates are able to find jobs and internship opportunities for virtually any career as the app is used by more than 400,000 employers, including many in the Central Washington region.
