Nob Hill Blvd., Building #38. The free event includes an evening of conversation featuring local education leaders offering advice for new teachers. Participants can also learn about YVC’s BAS-TE program and the master’s education programs at CWU.
Participants can register to attend in person or join the session via Zoom, meeting ID: 816 7138 7898.
YVC’s BAS-TE program offers multiple pathways leading to teacher certification in K-8 schools with optional endorsements for English Language Learner and Early Childhood Education. The program is residency-based with candidates completing an intensive residency experience (student teaching) that provides hands-on work in K-8 classrooms under the guidance of a mentor teacher and field supervisor within local partner schools. In addition to residency experiences, candidates complete core courses, which are delivered in a hybrid format combining face-to-face evening and online classes.
