This fall, the Yakima Valley College will host its Yak Family Nights — new student welcome events — on the Yakima and Grandview campuses. Created to strengthen the sense of belonging among students, introduce them to YVC resources and welcome students’ family members into the YVC community, the ultimate goal of Yak Family Nights is to support student success. The events will feature food, music, an open house highlighting various resources and programs available to students, campus tours and fun activities for family members of all ages.
