Winemaker’s Dinner and Silent Auction

 

16th Annual Grape to Glass Gala

Saturday, May 17, 2025 | 6 p.m. |  Kaminski Conference Center (Yakima Campus)

This year’s event theme is “African Safari” and features a dinner paired with wines from YVC’s award-winning Yakima Valley Vintners as well as a happy hour with offerings created by alumni of YVC’s program working at Treveri Cellars, Wheel Line Cider, Two Mountain Winery, WIT Cellars, HAAS Innovation and Brewing.

The winemaker’s dinner will include a gourmet meal prepared by The Lion Chef and a dessert auction by Scratch Bakery.

Tickets for the Grape to Glass Gala are $110 per person or $600 for a table of six.

About Yakima Vintners

Yakima Valley Vintners, YVC’s teaching winery, opened a new tasting room on the Yakima Campus in 2021. Our winemaking facilities are located on the Grandview Campus along with the original tasting room. The facility offers students studying in the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program the opportunity for hands-on technical training in the area of viticulture and enology.

Yakima Valley College is moving into our second decade of wine industry education!

Since 2007, we have been educating the next generation of Washington viticulturists and winemakers and your support during this time has been instrumental in providing nearly 90 scholarships with over $95,000 granted in scholarship funding.

Here’s how you can help:

  1. Please consider contributing an item to the silent auction. Click the “Make a Donation Now” button above to fill out the form, please return it by April 15, 2025. Your donation is tax-deductible.

  2. Consider a sponsorship ($2,500 Main Course, $1,000 Appetizer Social, $500 Dessert Auction, $350 Entertainment).

Join us May 17th, 2025, for dinner and live music along with tastings of student-made and alumni wines.  There will be an opportunity to speak with current and past scholarship recipients at the event.

With your help we can surpass the total scholarships raised in past years and make a larger impact on the lives of students in the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Trent Ball at 509-882-7007 or e-mail tball@yvcc.edu.
